An advertised price helps you identify an offer. Your written quote should explain what your own family will pay and receive. Before paying for December Umrah, confirm the people, dates, services, currency and conditions behind the total.
The lowest advertised sharing rate may not apply to your room arrangement. Nor should you multiply it by every child and adult without checking age-based pricing. A useful quote removes those assumptions before money changes hands.
Ask for the details that change the total
Quote section What it should identify
Travellers Names as required for booking, adult and child categories
Flights Dates, airports, baggage, fare conditions and ticketing status
Hotels Property, room category, occupancy and nights in each city
Meals Included meals and the people covered
Documents Named visa service, eligibility conditions and excluded charges
Transport Airport and city journeys, vehicle arrangements and exceptions
Support Included guidance and practical assistance
Payment Currency, taxes, fees, deposit and balance deadline
Changes Cancellation schedule, refunds and supplier changes
If an essential detail is “on request”, ask whether the booking remains acceptable without it. That matters for connecting rooms, accessible accommodation and specific bedding. Use the family room comparison and mobility route guide before treating a general hotel description as sufficient.
Build two totals
The first total is what you pay the supplier for the confirmed services. The second is your planned whole-trip spending, including separate meals, insurance, travel to the departure airport and personal expenses. Keeping these separate makes the quote clearer without pretending every discretionary purchase is part of the package.
For illustration, four adult package places at CAD 4,500 equal CAD 18,000. If the family separately budgets CAD 1,200 for meals, CAD 400 for local extras and CAD 500 for travel to and from Toronto, planned spending becomes CAD 20,100 before any other excluded items. These are example amounts, not Al-Ibrahim rates or a complete recommended budget.
Use the meal-plan comparison to estimate food costs rather than guessing a daily allowance. Add real quotes for insurance and any additional document charges. Convert foreign-currency items using a stated planning rate, and leave room for exchange-rate changes. Do not describe an estimated Canadian-dollar conversion as a fixed supplier charge.
Separate included services from optional purchases
An included activity may still have conditions or associated costs. Read the Cairo tour comparison if a stopover is part of the itinerary. Check whether joining an optional activity changes meals, transport or entry requirements.
Do the same for upgrades. Ask whether a higher price replaces a service or is added to it. If you arrange your own transfer, do not assume the package includes a credit. Obtain the revised total in writing.
Use the quote to compare fairly
When comparing suppliers, highlight every difference in dates, hotels, rooms and conditions before looking at the totals. A cheaper offer with fewer nights or different refund terms may still suit you, but it is not an identical product. Our DIY comparison provides a method for matching the services.
Does a deposit confirm everything? Ask which services are confirmed, which remain pending and when tickets are issued.
Can one cancellation affect the rest of the family? Yes, the remaining room arrangement or rate may change under the contract. Ask for the applicable terms.
What is the best final check? Read the quote as if another family member had to manage the trip from it. If they cannot identify where to go, what is included or whom to contact, ask for clarification.
